Managing Risk for Trustees
Course Description
This interactive workshop will look at how to break down the risks your organisation has in each of these areas and how to prioritise them. We will look at how you respond to these and put simple measures in place to reduce the levels of risk.
We will look together at some common risks and how they are measured, monitored and avoided.
Finally we will go through what to do if something goes wrong and how to deal with serious implications.
If you have an organisational risk policy, you could have it to hand. You will be sent a workbook and some information in advance of the session.
Who Should Attend?
No previous experience of risk management is needed. The session is particularly useful for small organisations that want a simple, proportionate approach to identifying and managing risk.
How to Book
To access these courses free of charge, bookings must be made through Volunteer Centre Dorset. Please do not register for the courses directly with the training provider, as a charge may apply.
