Funded by Wessex Cancer Alliance, the project supports activities that raise awareness of cancer signs and symptoms, encourage screening uptake, and promote healthy lifestyles.

Funding is available for organisations working with:

• People with learning disabilities
• People on low incomes
• People experiencing mental health challenges
• Minority ethnic communities, including Black, Asian, Gypsy, Romany and Traveller groups
• Men’s groups
• Communities experiencing deprivation

Projects can be simple and practical, such as producing information materials or hosting a cancer awareness speaker. Support and resources will be provided, so no specialist cancer knowledge is needed.

To help groups apply, they’ve produced a Funding Guide covering available grants, application tips and examples of eligible activities.
