Talbot Village Trust is a local grant-giving charity committed to strengthening communities and driving long-term change within Bournemouth, Christchurch, Poole, East Dorset, and Purbeck. In Autumn 2025, the Trust awarded £400,000 to 54 organisations, supporting projects from from health and social care projects to youth programmes, creative arts, and wellbeing events – all designed to strengthen community resilience and inclusion.

The Trust is pleased to announce that applications are now open for the Capital Spring 2027 Programme.

Capital Programme funding details:

• Requests for grant awards of £10,000 or more.
• As applicants are required to secure a minimum of 25% match funding before funds can be drawn down, the total project cost must be at least £13,333 for an application to be eligible
• Supports: Purchase, refurbishment or repair of buildings or physical spaces, investment in physical or IT assets, accessibility improvements
• Open to organisations that can demonstrate the capital expenditure is planned and integrated into their broader organisational strategy
• Providing a minimum 1 year of signed accounts
• Decision: mid-late May 2027

The popular Small Grants Programme has moved to a monthly rolling basis to enable faster distribution of funds to local charities and grassroots organisations.
