Emergency First Aid at Work
Course Description
This one day qualification meets the requirements of the Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 and the Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1982.
The learner will gain the knowledge and practical competence required to deal with a wide range of workplace first aid situations. The qualification is also suitable for people with responsibility for the provision of first aid in other settings such as voluntary and community groups. This qualification is regulated in the UK and awarded by First Aid Awards (FAA).
Who Should Attend?
Any VCS staff or volunteers with responsibility for first aid or who work in the field.
How to Book
To access these courses free of charge, bookings must be made through Volunteer Centre Dorset. Please do not register for the courses directly with the training provider, as a charge may apply.
To enrol staff or volunteers, a volunteer coordinator, manager or similar representative from your organisation should click the link below to email us with the full name, email address and chosen course(s) for each person you would like to enrol. We’ll then arrange access to the training for you.
