Course Description

This workshop explores what volunteer engagement means in practice and why it matters for creating a positive, rewarding and sustainable volunteering experience.

We’ll look at how to build engagement throughout the volunteer journey by welcoming volunteers well, creating a sense of belonging, communicating effectively and recognising the contribution volunteers make.

You’ll leave with practical ideas to improve volunteer satisfaction, strengthen retention and develop your own Volunteer Engagement Action Plan.
